We are glad to introduce you to
a short tour of Monselice in order to let you visit the main historical beauties
of the town.
(3 hours)

After parking your car in the nearby
of Pasticceria Lazzarin (red zone on the map) have a break in our shop. After a cup
of coffee, a drink or a pastry, go to the town centre leaving Villa Tortorini (Town
Hall) on your right.
The red
path on the map takes you to Piazza Mazzini, starting point for the short historical
tour (red zone). On your left, beyond the square, you can see the Torre Civica, St.
Paulís church and the Loggietta. The promenade on the left is the beginning of the
tour that we recommend you to take.
The tour from the Loggietta (red zone on the map) takes you to admire Monselice Castle, Villa Nani, the old Cathedral (Duomo), the seven Churches, and Villa Duodo. The Torrione above the Rocca cannot unfortunately be reached yet but it will be soon.
Further pictures and historical
references on this tour are available.

A next novelty in the site
Just like spending the night with friends sitting in front of your slide projector.
Going back to Monselice Cathedral
you can take the stairs on your left in order to see other beautiful spots such as
St. Martinís and St. Francesí s Churches (blue zone).
To come back to Pasticceria Lazzarin take the Cathedral as a point of reference.
Monselice people call it the new Duomo not to get confused with the old Duomo that
you have already seen in the tour.
Now we suggest having a break in our shop to try some
of our typical products like Frederick IIís Cake,
to get one of the many confectionery items or Monselice gift boxes to take home with
you.
If you canít make your mind up remember that Mrs Lina is at your disposal for advice
and suggestion.
